General competences:

General competences has been acquired under previous education.

Vocational competences:

apply knowledge of chemistry and other science disciplines in the performance of work activities;
know the principles and operation of machinery and equipment used in chemical laboratories and workshops, work with them to ensure the optimum mode of action with respect to the laboratory and technological requirements and minimize the impact on working and living environment;
know the principles, procedures and use of methods of chemical analysis, remove, and modify samples for analysis, select the appropriate method of analysis, take measurements as directed, process and evaluate results;
apply knowledge of the physicochemical nature of processes and operations to assess the technological processes;
comply with relevant standards, standard procedures for analysis in the laboratories and plants and technological discipline in the chemical industries;
work with the technical and technological documentation, have knowledge of the legislation in the field of chemistry and ensure its compliance;
lead smaller working group to manage and organize work in chemical plants and laboratories.

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

The graduate is employed in the field of chemical industry and various manufacturing industries with a significant proportion of chemical nature, research and service organizations and laboratories; in state and local government matching the appropriate focus of the training, in employment-related activities and waste water treatment, chemical and biochemical analysis, environmental monitoring, in compliance with hygiene, etc.
Examples of possible jobs: operator, analyst, master engineer, operations manager, etc. in providing technical and technological aspects of the production process, control activities, in the quality management system, in the care for the environment and in the trade and economic activities.
