3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

General competences:

communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
work in a team;
use basic mathematics when needed;
apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.

Vocational competences:

perform assembly and maintenance works in mechanical engineering and services;
perform basic maintenance of water mains, fittings and stock of dwellings;
make and install based on technical and assembly drawings and diagrams;
read simple manufacturing and assembly drawings;
use technical standards and tables;
choose and efficiently use and take care of work and clamping tools, preparations and gauges;
operate adjusted conventional machine tools (to perform simple operations).

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

The graduate can be employed as an engineering worker, performing assembly works, operating controlled machine tools or performing basic maintenance of stock of dwellings.
Examples of possible jobs: worker in engineering production.
