3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- be familiar with automatic controls (elements, circuits, systems);
- apply one's skills and abilities in using computers to examples from professional work;
- recognise individual measuring devices;
- know the properties of the measuring devices;
- measure electrical and non-electrical quantities, the input and output values of the working wholes;
- independently compile a protocol on the measurement;
- know the principles of caring for measuring devices and the principles of working safely with them;
- be familiar with using semi-conductor elements and circuits in electrical work;
- have an idea of the characteristic properties of electricity circuits;
- apply the properties of electronic circuits in specific electrical equipment;
- understand the working of individual blocks or elements during assembly, production or maintenance;
- distinguish materials and components on the basis of their correct working;
- choose integrated work procedures in accord with the technological requirements and the operational sequence during assembly, maintenance and repairs;
- be familiar with technical documentation and the ČSN, work with the professional literature;
- read electronics diagrams;
- use tables, catalogues and diagrams showing the characteristics of specific elements.
