3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;

Vocational competences:
- carry out preparatory and final work on the protective surface of the chassis and body of motor vehicles;
- prepare bonding agents and fill areas, grind bonded areas manually or with machinery;
- prepare the chassis surface for the application of the undercoat;
- apply finish coat of paint for chassis and body of vehicles by grinding and polishing;
- apply anti-vibration and insulation layers;
- operate industrial robots to spray paints;
- operate systems for drying and hardening coatings;
- operate systems and equipment for the surface treatment of vehicle chassis and bodies;
- operate systems for handling vehicles chassis and bodies;
- select suitable materials, technologies and work processes for the repair of defects and damage to individual coating layers;
- select technologies and work processes for the repair of vehicle chassis and body surface coatings;
- select materials and apply them using various techniques for individual layers of vehicle chassis and body coatings;
- select suitable coating systems, calculate the consumption of paint and other materials;
- select and use suitable tools and work aids and maintain them;
- assess and select technological work conditions (temperature, air humidity, dust conditions, etc.);
- prepared to obtain class B driver's license.
