3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;

Vocational competences:
- carry out technical inspections and cleaning of flues and warn of potential fire risks;
- carry out technical inspections and cleaning of boilers and central heating technology appliances;
- clean the local fuel burning solid and liquid fuels;
- perform minor repairs of local heating systems for solid fuels;
- measure and calculate move, remove tension and packing defects in ventilation holes;
- measure the flue gas composition and evaluate the measured values;
- design processes and organization of work in cleaning flues of chimneys and flues;
- design and connect appliances to the solid, liquid and gas in the flue gas path;
- design parameters of multilayer stacks and perform installation and construction;
- design parameters of the cylindrical chimney liners and chimney flues;
- distinguish types of materials used in the field, have knowledge of their properties, uses and certification, count their consumption;
- read construction drawings and have knowledge of the project and technical documentation, make simple sketches and architectural drawings.
