3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language;
- effectively organize and manage and participate in a team, including the ability to lead a team and cope with problematic situations;
- know how to use information and ICT, have basic ICT skills;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- draw simple production diagrams and carry out auxiliary designs;
- know the skills involved in using technology for manually tooling metals;
- distinguish the technical materials used in engineering, know their properties and usage, to know their numerical identification;
- select a cutting tool, control it and maintain it;
- control, adjust and service the usual types of conventional machine tools and maintain them daily;
- carry out the basic machine tooling work on conventional machine tools;
- make a control program for a simple component according to a set diagram, compile a set-up sheet;
- transfer the program to the control system of the numerically controlled machine, enter the necessary corrections and shift the start of the coordinates according to the set-up sheet;
- manage numerically controlled machines in various work regimes and select a suitable machine and fixtures for the job in hand;
- correctly measure using adjustable and micrometric gauges and calibres, measure using end gauges and protractors and use equipment for surface scribing components.
