| 3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
- work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- support values of local, national, European and world cultures, recognize the value of life;

Vocational competences:
- prepare raw textile material for processing, supply machinery, equipment and material for production of lines and lengths fabrics (depending on the specialization);
- produce semi-finished textile products in various forms and remove them from the machines, equipment and lines (according to the specialization);
- operate textile machines, equipment and lines and perform routine maintenance (according to the specialization);
- check the progress of manufacturing operations, detect any defects in the process and solve common manufacturing problems (depending on the specialization);
- cooperate in the preparation and adjustment of machines and production equipment, in the quality control of textile raw materials, of intermediate products and products according to relevant standards (according to the specialization);
- organize own work effectively in the workplace to maintain order and cleanliness, comply with applicable standards and established both technological and operational procedures for a particular textile technology;
- record data about the progress and results of the work, apply the aesthetic point of view of economy and efficiency in the manufacture of textiles (depending on the specialization)
- complete and prepare textile semi-finished products for sale
- strive for the highest quality of the work and products, act economically.
