General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
- work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;

Vocational competences:
- have knowledge of the art history, particularly in relation to the development of artistic craft;
- use basic art expression techniques for working in the field;
- read technical drawings and workshop sketches;
- master processes and traditional techniques for creating and working in the field;
- set schedule for individual working operations and maintain compliance of separate stages in the workflow in a given material;
- prepare and choose appropriate types of materials and tools for making handicraft glaziers products;
- ensure aesthetic design of the final product and precise elaboration during the work;
- implement technological processes of glazing into lead or brass sections;
- create art craft glass products according to the drawings, original designs or graphic designs with appropriate technological methods and techniques for creation and refinement;
- cut and paint glass, install and finish products with respect to their functionality, aesthetic design and safety;
- use the relevant standards and regulations in the field of conservation;
- repair damaged parts of the original work;
- prepare the initial and subsequent documentation for the specific job;
- service and perform routine maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools and instruments.
