3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language;
- effectively organize and manage and participate in a team, including the ability to lead a team and cope with problematic situations;
- know how to use information and ICT, have basic ICT skills;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- make or finish machine parts of medium difficulty;
- prepare materials, measure semi-products and measure out and trace work items;
- tool simple surfaces of parts on basic tooling machines;
- prepare individual weldments for welding and assemble them;
- make building structures and metal fillers;
- assemble and install demountable and non-demountable joints of machine parts;
- diagnose mechanical defects of machines and equipment and propose the method and procedure of their repair;
- activate machines, equipment, mechanisms, aggregates and units and check and measure their parameters and functions;
- assemble all types of joints, parts and assembled units, perform function tests and repair defects;
- disassemble the structural unit of a machine or equipment, measure out important elements, repair defects and perform function tests.
