3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;

Vocational competences:
- have knowledge of the art history, particularly in relation to the development of artistic craft;
- use basic art expression techniques for working in the field;
- read technical drawings and workshop sketches;
- master processes and traditional techniques for creating and working in the field;
- set schedule for individual working operations and maintain compliance of separate stages in the workflow in a given material;
- in implementing handicraft work ensure the resulting aesthetic design and accuracy of the final product;
- choose appropriate types of materials and equipment for manufacturing of concrete wig-making products and perform makeup activities following appropriate aesthetic and functional requirements;
- produce wig-making products for theatres and perform make-up activities according to the drawings, designs or artistic design with appropriate technological methods and techniques, including their final fitting;
- create and modify hairstyles according to the designs, manufacture, put on and fix hair accessories, create wigs of character;
- rouge and clean face, hands and body; stylize makeup according to the nature of the historical period;
- manufacture different kinds of masks for theatre, film and television, perform deformed face, stick and scan masks;
- use appropriate health and hygiene regulations;
- use the relevant standards and regulations in the field of conservation;
- prepare the initial and subsequent documentation for the specific job;
- service and perform routine maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools and instruments.
