3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- operate basic electrotechnical appliance, machinery and equipment and perform simple tasks and activities in their assembly;
- understand the nature of basic measurement methods and techniques and verify the basic features of the electrotechnical and electronical equipment by means of measurement and monitoring;
- control the operation of basic circuits, blocks and devices in electrotechnics and electronics;
- understand the basics of electrotechnics and electronics and their application;
- read and use electrotechnical documentation, look for the necessary data in standards and professional literature, tables and diagrams, draw diagrams of simple components and circuits;
- use the basic materials used in electrotechnics and electronics, their qualities and examples of using;
- handle technical calculations in the use of relevant standards and tables;
- work with specific application software equipment used in electrotechnics and electronics;
- apply the most important principles of security and health protection at work, especially the protection against the effects of electricity and providing first aid.
