General competences:

General competences has been acquired under previous education.

Vocational competences:

read technical documentation and prepare the structural design of products or their parts;
select and prepare suitable materials for production and assess their technical/technological parameters, utility, and economic properties, as well as ensure their economic and ecological use;
assess the suitability of using machinery and equipment for a given type of production, and master the fundamentals of their operation, settings, and maintenance;
propose, organize, and manage technological processes in production or its part based upon a given task and technical documentation of a product;
propose a suitable manner of preparing, treating, and storing materials and finished products;
manage and organize activities involved in the packaging, transportation and shipping of finished products;
arrange, manage and organize work activities related to quality control during production and the quality control of products;
propose uses for and further processing of wood waste;
work with application programs;
follow new trends in technological development and apply this knowledge in practice.

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

Graduates are employed in middle management positions in the area of woodworking production as techno-economic workers or at middle or lower levels for activities related to production management and organization.
Examples of possible job positions include: pre-production supervisor, head of production, production engineer, planner, quality control inspector, supply or sales specialist etc.
