General competences:
  • be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
  • understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
  • communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; 
  • cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
  • be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
  • use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
  • work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
  • act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;

Vocational competences:

  • use their knowledge of the historical development of fine arts, arts and crafts, and the artistic and applied work pertaining to their field of occupation;
  • make use of basic artistic forms and expression techniques;
  • understand and appreciate the idea behind the artistic intent, as well as its artistic content;
  • pay attention to the aesthetic finish of the final product when working in the sphere of artistic crafts;
  • use both traditional and modern technological processes and techniques, choose the most suitable method of realizing the artistic intent, and evaluate the quality of partial work tasks throughout the artistic process;
  • have complex overview of the types of materials used, know how to evaluate their characteristics and determine whether they suit the intended final outcome of the worked product;
  • use properly the suitable machinery, apparatuses, tools, and aids for specific work tasks, and know how to service and regularly maintain them;
  • organize effectively the allotted time for their specific work task, and perform it perfectly and in accordance with the finished product's expected standard of quality;
  • complete artistically simple, as well as very elaborate artistic craft products, in accordance with the sketches and blueprints used in their relevant field of production;
  • follow the development of new technologies, materials, technical apparatuses, etc., and implement them into their practice.
The graduate may find work in a wide spectrum of challenging artistic crafts, in stone sculpting, and ceramics. The specific field of their employment stems from the focus and profiling offered in their professional training based on the specific school educational program.
The graduate focusing on stone sculpting may especially find work in the field of crafting stone sculptures and stone accessories for both interior and exterior settings.
The graduate focusing  on ceramic work may especially find work in crafting complex domestic and decorative ceramics. They may also find work in the field of tehnical manufacture, such as the head of a workshop, etc.
The graduate may perform the specified activities either on their own, or within company workshops  focused on the relevant field of artistic craft and production.
