General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- carry out the administrative agenda using computer technology and standard office technology;
- make out business correspondence in a factual, lingual and formal correct form;
- use one's knowledge of legal norms, seek the pertinent legal; regulations for enterprise in the laws or in computer databases;
- compile, by hand and on a computer, accounting documents and documents associated with selling and purchasing goods and providing services;
- make out accounting documents, run a tax agenda and accounting using computer technology;
- ascertain from the account statements information on the structure of a company's assets, its resources, costs, yields and economic results;
- carry out economic analyses, set up calculations and budgets;
- analyse the development of the financial market, analyse the company's financial housekeeping and take part in forming the background material for the company's financial plans;
- carry out market research, data collation and analysis and promoting the company and its products;
- be familiar with the legal regulation of labour relations and realise activities linked to developing human resources;
- be sociable and behave professionally when dealing with customers and business partners.
