3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- have a wide general education necessary for further study;
- communicate in at least two foreign languages at level B1 - B2 Common European Framework for Languages;
- have prerequisites, knowledge, skills and competencies for the study of music, or art;
- formulate opinions and attitudes, both orally and in writing, discuss issues constructively;
- organise and manage own study, adapt to the conditions of tertiary study and objectively assess results;
- adapt to changing living and working conditions, work in a team and accept responsibility for entrusted tasks;
- have a general overview of culture, history and the present of the nation in a European and global context;
- be well versed in various social and value systems, in social and economic phenomenon and the processes of everyday life;
- have the social and cultural abilities necessary for civic life in a democratic society and in the integrated Europe;
- obtain the information and practical skills necessary for studying, personal and professional life in an unknown environment and international situations;
- work efficiently with information, take advantage of information and communication technology;
- apply the basic mathematical relations, physical, biological, geographic and chemical laws when dealing with practical tasks;
- understand the relationship between man and nature, act in an environmentally-friendly manner and in accordance with a strategy for sustainable development;
