3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

General competences:

communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
work in a team;
use basic mathematics when needed;
apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.

Vocational competences:

read simple production and assembly diagrams;
use technical norms and tables;
choose work and mounting equipment, tools, gauges, preparations;
produce, assemble and install simple locksmith construction elements.

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

The graduate can find work in all operations involving the hand working of metal, when setting up and connecting simple parts of machines and their units, when servicing machines for machining metals and when maintaining water supply systems, steel reinforcing and housing stock.
Examples of possible work positions: construction locksmith, work connected with assembling the usual locksmith products or more complicated steel constructions in the building trade.
