3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language;
- effectively organize and manage and participate in a team, including the ability to lead a team and cope with problematic situations;
- know how to use information and ICT, have basic ICT skills;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- use the technical documentation for assembling, reconstructing and repairing electronic telecommunications equipment and wiring;
- be familiar with the norms and regulations in the area of telecommunications;
- keep documentation on the operation, maintenance and repairs to telecommunications equipment;
- seek out faults, repair , reactivate and keep telecommunications equipment and transmission networks operating;
- measure the characteristic quantities and set up the parameters during the installation, repairs and maintenance of electronic telecommunications equipment;
- choose and select the work procedure, suitable tools, aids and spare parts during work on telecommunications equipment;
- carry out the assembly and disassembly of above ground, underground and internal telecommunications wiring and distribution systems;
- install rail, network and serving switchboards for associational equipment;
- set up install, inspect and reactivate transfer telecommunications equipment;
- maintain and ensure the technical operation of data systems for telecommunications equipment;
- carry out professional activities in the area of telecommunications services (call centres).
