3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- use applicable standards and ISO standards, keep the technical documentation, have knowledge of the legal regulations in the field of production schedules;
- use specific application software for the creation of manufacturing documentation;
- assess the properties of materials and processing options, including methods of testing and verification, respect the material, economic and manufacturing production requirements;
- prepare an appropriate material for a particular production, know the principles of treatment, storage, and economical use of materials;
- control the technological processes and follow technological discipline, continuously evaluate the quality of the results of individual work operations, use appropriate methods of surface treatment products;
- use the principles of technological design and processing of basic types of products, comply with the functional, material, production, health and aesthetic requirements;
- prepare documentation for the calculation of wages, calculation of costs and techno-economic analysis;
- ensure safety and health at work, including fire prevention.
