3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- be familiar with the legal regulations of labour relations and contractual relationships;
- know the basic legal standards for the essentials of business;
- be familiar with the business-entrepreneurial activities of market players;
- assess the suitability of investments;
- make calculations, know the principles of price formation;
- use marketing tools to represent the company and its products and services;
- calculate VAT, income tax, social and health insurance and liability insurance for the organisation;
- write out accounting documents, keep tax records, keep accounts using paper and computing methods;
- determine the state of and developments in the state's economy on the basis of economic indicators;
- write standard letters;
- calculate the interest from deposits and debts;
- know the legal transport standards and laws;
- know the basic economic characteristics of states, regions and continents;
- recognise transport routes, transport means and operational facilities;
- monitor the circulation of transport media;
- monitor the efficiency of control systems for individual types of transport;
- organise passenger conveyance;
- operate communications, safety and other transport technology;
- know the basic transport and manipulation systems in logistics and know their practical usage;
- understand transport papers for individual types of transport and work with them.
