3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- work within the framework of appropriate legal regulations;
- secure the main activities of circulating and also long-term property;
- be well versed in the legislation of labour relations and obligational relationships;
- generate accounting documents and prepares tax records for businesspeople using computer technology ;
- perform analyses of the financial management of a company;
- process documents connected with records of supplies, long-term property, employees, sales and main activities of a company;
- oversee the basics of human resources management;
- draft up calculations of products and services, knows the principles of price creation;
- orient him or herself in the commercial entrepreneurial activities of market subjects;
- undertake commercial negotiations and prepare the groundwork for contractual provision of purchases and sales of products and services;
- transact and ensure purchases and sales of goods;
- generate typical business letters in standard formats;
- organize market research and evaluate the results;
- manage the advertising of products or services;
- direct advertising activities;
- apply knowledge of the psychology of selling;
- provide follow-up customer support, as well as customer care;
- represent his or her company in an appropriate way and help to create the image of this company for the public.
