3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language, use technical terminology;
- educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
- adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
- work with information, use ICT;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- use when performing artistic activities knowledge of the historical development and current trends in dance and ballet, music and other artistic disciplines related to the art of dance;
- perceive sensitively the art piece of dance repertoire, perceive its structure, characterize its content and classify its style;
- use the knowledge of music theory and basic musical skills in dance practice;
- apply the distinctive means of expression of dance and musical feeling appropriately;
- control the standards of professional ethics;
- possess on a professional level the practical motion skills regarding various dance techniques;
- interpret dance repertoire on the required technical, stylistic and aesthetic level in accordance with the requirements of professional dance practice;
- use the knowledge of the structure, tectonics and forms of dance repertoire in his own approach within the interpretation;
- fulfil the requirements of the choreographer and ballet master, be adaptable in the study of a work of art;
- develop their own creativity and ability to improvise, creatively collaborate in solo, partner or group interpretation;
- analyze and evaluate the concept of work and its interpretation.
