3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language;
- effectively organize and manage and participate in a team, including the ability to lead a team and cope with problematic situations;
- know how to use information and ICT, have basic ICT skills;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- know different types of technical and electrotechnical documentation and understand information in electrotechnical drawings and charts;
- draw circuit elements and wiring of electrical and electronic devices and equipment;
- understand functioning, communication, manufacturing, and installation electrotechnical charts and electronic wiring charts and apply relations shown in the charts in preparing, performing, and follow-up checking of work operations;
- adequately solve electrical and electronic circuits and equipment, choose appropriate components, realise and commission circuits and equipment, check their functions, and measure their operation parameters;
- wire in, commission, diagnose, and repair equipment with passive and active electronic components and integrated circuits, using technical documentation;
- understand digital electronics and their applications;
- de-install, repair, and correctly re-install parts of electronic equipment and devices;
- understand different types of electrical and electronic devices, and parts thereof, and repair and commission them based on diagnosed values;
- choose the best measuring method for electrotechnical and electronic equipment and devices;
- propose and realise appropriate measuring circuits;
- assess measured values for control, diagnostics, rectification of defects, commission, tune-up, and operation set-up;
- apply technical knowledge of cutting, fitting, processing, and using different metal and non-metal materials in providing assistance;
- perform preparatory and final work when making mechanical components of electrical devices, equipment, and different assembly tools.
