3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

General competences:

communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
work in a team;
use basic mathematics when needed;
apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.

Vocational competences:

perform simple work growing plants and processing plant products;
perform simple work in animal husbandry and processing animal products;
provide service, basic maintenance, and common repairs to simple mechanized equipment;
perform activities connected with running a household and simple tasks connected with countryside development (agricultural tourism, caring for the landscape);
drive motor vehicles in the T category (tractors).

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

The graduate can be employed as an agricultural worker in agricultural primary production and services for agriculture. He or she performs simple tasks connected with growing plants and raising animals, and makes use of skills in servicing and maintaining agricultural machines, in the area of agricultural tourism and caring for the landscape, growing fruits and vegetables, processing plant and animal products in the framework of an agricultural enterprise and running a household.
Examples of possible employment opportunities include: agricultural worker in plant and animal products manufacturing, housekeeper, or possibly after further training, agriculturalist - farmer.
