3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
General competences:
 
  • communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
  • work in a team;
  • use basic mathematics when needed;
  • apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.

Vocational competences:

  • receive and store raw materials, oven-ready foods, food conditioners, and wrapping materials for food production;
  • prepare and process raw materials, oven-ready foods and food conditioners according to the technological procedure for the corresponding food product;
  • perform simple technological operations in accordance with the prescribed technological procedure, observe the production of safety foodstuffs;
  • service simple machines and equipment;
  • fill, pack, label and dispatch finished products;
  • provide simple operational records and documentation;
  • maintain hygienic standards, standards of personal hygiene and sanitation for the food production facility;
  • perform all activities in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, prevent negative influences of food production from impacting the natural environment.
 
4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE 
The graduate in this field is qualified to perform simple work activities in individual fields in the food industry according to prescribed working procedures and following the instructions of a supervising worker. He or she can be employed especially in dairy facilities, bakeries, confectioneries, in the meat-packing industry, in conserve manufacturing facilities, distilleries, starch-producing facilities, breweries, malt houses.
