General competences:
- communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
- seek out essential information from the text and other sources;
- understand the task and solve simple problems, find the information necessary for the solution;
- work or learn under supervision with certain autonomy, apply basic rules and procedures;
- cooperate with others when solving simple problems and situations;
- apply basic mathematic skills to solve simple tasks;
- work with a personal computer and its basic and application software;
- apply principles of safety and health protection at work, fire protection and fire prevention;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- have a basic knowledge of career opportunities in the labor market and of the job search process.
Vocational competences:
- use the technical documentation - have a good command of the construction drawings, technical and technological documentation for the manufacture, installation and repair of plumbing products;
- make auxiliary workshop sketches of plumbing products, parts of plumbing constructions, read implementing and assembly drawings of simple plumbing constructions;
- dimension and draw thin metal plates, construct advanced shapes of simple plumbing products;
- perform auxiliary calculations of dimensions of simple plumbing products and constructions and materials consumption;
- choose and use instruments, tools, hand held power tools and work equipment for manual processing of thin metal plates and thin sections in the manufacture, assembly and repair of plumbing products;
- distinguish the types of materials used for the plumbing products and constructions, know their mechanical and technological properties;
- choose and use appropriate plumbing materials, semi-finished products, fasteners, and components;
- choose and use auxiliary materials and substances (solder, sealants, adhesives, erasing agents, etc.);
- hand-processed thin metal plates and thin-sections;
- choose, adjust and operate basic types of plumbing machinery in the production of plumbing products;
- join thin metal plates and thin-sections;
- modify the surfaces of plumbing products for coatings and apply the basic or simple coating systems;
- check the dimensions and shapes of sheet metal parts, their seating, compilation and assembly to the units;
- monitor and evaluate the quality of the work within the extent of qualification;
- reduce the negative impact of activities in the field on the environment, recognize hazardous substances and dispose of waste in compliance with applicable regulations.
