General competences:

  • educate themselves, work in an effective way and assess impartially results;
  • adapt themselves to the changing conditions of life and work, work well in a team and be responsible for assigned tasks;
  • work with information, use ICT;
  • use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
  • know the present rights and duties of employers and employees and know how to conduct a job search;
  • act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
  • apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.

Vocational competences:

  • keep an administrative agenda using computing technology and the standard office technology;
  • write business correspondence in a normalised form;
  • prepare accounting documents on paper and on a computer related to the sale and purchase of goods and the offer of services;
  • negotiate the sale and purchase of goods and the offer of services;
  • deal with complaints during the sale and purchase of goods and the provision of services in accord with the valid legislation;
  • use one's knowledge of the legal norms, seek out the pertinent legal regulations for commerce in the laws or in computer databases;
  • effectively use marketing strategies, carry out market research, collect and analyse data;
  • work in a team, after training run a small collective of workers;
  • behave in a sociable and professional manner in relation to customers and business partners.
 
4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE 
The graduate can find work as a professional worker in the divisions of sales, purchases, marketing, promotion and the economic department of a firm at middle management. They are able to start up independent trade in the area of trade and services.
