General competences:
- communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
- seek out essential information from the text and other sources;
- understand the task and solve simple problems, find the information necessary for the solution;
- work or learn under supervision with certain autonomy, apply basic rules and procedures;
- cooperate with others when solving simple problems and situations;
- apply basic mathematic skills to solve simple tasks;
- work with a personal computer and its basic and application software;
- apply principles of safety and health protection at work, fire protection and fire prevention;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- have a basic knowledge of career opportunities in the labor market and of the job search process.
Vocational competences:
- carry out auxiliary, preparatory, servicing and manipulating works according to the specialization;
- comply with established operating procedures for a particular textile or clothing technology, organize the work effectively in the workplace and maintain order and cleanness;
- ensure occupational safety and health at work, including fire prevention, stand out for quality of the work and products.
Vocational competences for textile production (according to the focus chosen by the school):
- prepare textile material for processing, perform manual and machine manual labour in the production of textiles, operate sub-sections of semi-automatic machines and equipment;
- operate simple textile machinery and equipment in the production of textiles, such as spinning, weaving, knitting or other technologies.
Vocational competences for clothing production (according to the focus chosen by the school):
- perform simple operations in the production of garments or other sewn products, prepare materials for textile cutting process, after small preparation manipulate with clothing and other sewn products, perform simple ironing work.
