3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language;
- effectively organize and manage and participate in a team, including the ability to lead a team and cope with problematic situations;
- know how to use information and ICT, have basic ICT skills;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- know basic electrotechnical work and wiring;
- know and use different types of electrotechnical documentation and draw circuit elements and circuits of electrical and electronic devices and equipment ;
- understand functioning, communication, and installation electrotechnical charts and manufacturing drawings and understand relations shown in the charts;
- install light-current electrical systems, light-current distributors, and electrotechnical readers and converters;
- wire electrotechnical equipment and devices and connect signal transmission lines to them;
- perform industrial wiring of light-current electrotechnical systems;
- apply technical skills in installing, de-installing, and repairing electrical machines, devices, and equipment;
- install and connect electrotechnical and electronic components to electrotechnical devices and equipment ;
- install and wire passive electronic and semiconductor components by soldering to printed connections and commission analogue and digital electronic devices and equipment, or parts thereof;
- rectify defects in, and commission, light-current electrotechnical equipment operating in different frequency bands;
- measure electrotechnical quantities and basic characteristics of electrotechnical circuits and parts thereof, assess measured values, and use this information in repairing;
- know the basics of engineering and manual and mechanical processing of metals and other regular technical materials.
