3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be well informed about culture, history and the present of the Czech nation within the European and world context;
- formulate views and attitudes verbally and in writing, communicate in at least one other foreign language;
- effectively organize and manage and participate in a team, including the ability to lead a team and cope with problematic situations;
- know how to use information and ICT, have basic ICT skills;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- apply the fundamentals of health, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety.
Vocational competences:
- make or finish machine components of medium difficulty after their machining;
- prepare materials, measure semi-finished products, measure out and line out work objects;
- machine simple profiles of components on basic machine tools;
- prepare individual parts of welds to be welded and assemble them into units;
- make structures and metal fillers of holes;
- prepare and assemble demountable and permanent joining of machine components;
- diagnose mechanical defects of machines and equipment, propose methods and procedures to remove them;
- commission machines, equipment, mechanisms, aggregates and units, check and measure their parameters and functions;
- assemble all types of joints, components and assembled units, perform operation tests and remove their defects;
- disassemble structural units of machines or equipment, measure important elements, remove defects, and perform operation tests required.
