3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

General competences:

  • have a broad general education and be prepared for further studies;  
  • formulate opinions and attitudes both orally and in writing, and discuss problems constructively;  
  • apply advanced reading literacy skills to work quickly and effectively with information and to critically evaluate and interpret texts;  
  • communicate in one foreign language at B2 level and at least one other foreign language at B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR), and actively develop one’s own language skills;  
  • use digital technologies safely, critically, responsibly and creatively at an advanced level in work, learning and social engagement;  
  • be well versed in different social and value systems, as well as social, political, legal and economic processes of everyday life, and demonstrate financial and media literacy;  
  • use mathematical thinking and apply mathematical methods to find solutions to problems in different areas of life;  
  • understand fundamental phenomena and processes in nature;   
  • consider the interconnection between ecological, economic, and social factors, and be able to select optimal solutions in real-life situations;  
  • use a broad knowledge of linguistics, humanities, technical and natural sciences for practical purposes and further education;  
  • respect and promote the values of local, national, European and global cultures, and recognise the value of life;  
  • act in accordance with the principles of sustainable living in local and global perspectives;  
  • master various methods of learning and be able to organise one’s own learning;  
  • understand tasks or identify the core of a problem, apply various solutions, work independently and in a team;  
  • adapt to changing social, economic and technological conditions;  
  • understand the significance of data and information, acquire, sort and interpret data, create and compare models and apply them in problem-solving situations;

Vocational competences:

  • have a broad general education, with extended knowledge of human biology, health and physical education required for further study and for active sports activities;
  • plan activities in training and in the preparation for the competition, and keep in mind that final sport achievement depends on the structure of the training;
  • reflect that external factors (such as age and overall physical condition and development of organs) affecting sport performance;
  • affect technical, tactical, fitness and psychological factors of his sports achievement consciously during preparation and in the competitions;
  • have motional skills, practices and habits necessary for active sports activities and for personal improving the performance in selected sports specialization;
  • clarify the effects of support materials on performance and health, and actively prevent their use.

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

The graduate is prepared to study at universities or higher professional schools of all types, particularly in the field of kinanthropology, sports, or physical education teaching. 
They possess a broad general education and advanced digital skills, and, in addition to further studies and learning, are able to work in various fields and interdisciplinary specialisations. They learn effectively and are adaptable to newly emerging requirements of the labour market. 
Their athletic performance and experience gained in sports training and competitions are a prerequisite for continuing further high-level sports activities, including national representation.
