3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

General competences:

General competences has been acquired under previous education.

Vocational competences:

select and use suitable materials for the manufacture and repair of machinery;
use suitable technological manufacturing processes, including the manufacture of agricultural products and the repair of corresponding technological equipment;
make simple machinery parts;
refurbish and maintain the operational reliability of machinery and equipment;
troubleshoot equipment using objective and subjective methods and available diagnostic tools;
assess the degree of wear and functionality of individual components with respect to optimal performance;
keep records of technical data on work results and workflow;
master the fundamentals of metal arc welding and flame cutting;
drive class T (tractor), class B (car) and class C (truck) motor vehicles;
assess the environmental impact of repairs and adopt measures to prevent negative consequences;
be economical and efficient in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

4. RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS ACCESSIBLE TO THE HOLDER OF THE CERTIFICATE

Graduates are employed in the field of agricultural machinery repair, parts manufacture and refurbishing, maintenance, machine tune-ups, diagnostics of malfunctions and the operational reliability of agricultural equipment and motor vehicles (especially tractors), even in related machining industries, forest management, transportation, construction, and possibly other areas requiring machinery.
Examples of possible job positions include: repairman of agricultural machinery, repairman of motor vehicles (especially tractors), driver of motor vehicles (including trucks and self-propelled agricultural machinery), combine driver, welder, spare parts warehouser, service mechanic, independent entrepreneur providing services for mechanized agriculture (including the sale of agricultural equipment).
