	be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;support values of local, national, European and world cultures, recognize the value of life;exert fundamentals of health protection, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety;exert norms and prescriptions in the field. 	perform and organize caretaking, rearing and breeding of specific species and categories of exotic animals;have a positive attitude and responsible approach to working with exotic animals based in ethology and animal welfare, ensure the protection of animals from maltreatment;evaluate the microclimates of structures designated for exotic animals and adopt adequate precautions;prepare and serve specialized feeds while taking into account the needs of exotic animals;evaluate the life patterns of the bred animals and note deviations from their normal state and the standard needs of exotic animals;realize preventive measures in exotic animal breeding, assist during veterinary operations, cure sick and injured animals under the guidance of a veterinarian;catch, move and transport animals, perform simple manipulations and tethering;keep breeding documentation;arrange biotopes of various kinds of exotic animals, facades and plant decoration, take part in conceptualization and creation of new expositions;provide basic information and guidance to visitors and other customers;cooperate in the culturally-didactic activities of zoological gardens;perform observation and experimentation according to the instructions of scientific and expert professionals. |  |
