3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;

Vocational competences:
- carry out installation, repair and maintenance of water supply and sewerage networks, including the installation of valves and equipment for increasing and decreasing water pressure, installation of meters and construction of buildings to the sewer network;
- map out a route of water and sewerage networks, build water supply and sewer connections;
- operate machinery used for piping work, used in water work and water treatment plants;
- maintain mechanical water management facilities;
- implement the water meter reading and exchange;
- identify and remove operational faults in pipes, sewer cleanings, shafts and wells;
- restore and maintain the operational reliability of machines and equipment, perform hand and machine cutting of metallic and non-metallic materials;
- connect pipe materials by welding, by linking to the neck, with flanged joints, by stemming and mechanical services;
- use hand power tools and special equipment;
- examine the properties of technical materials and apply them in the choice of material to choose appropriate methods for storage and environmental destruction;
- read technical drawings, plans and situations, have knowledge of the relevant technical standards and regulations;
- prepared for welding by oxy-acetylene flame welding (ZK 311 W01), by arc welding with coated electrodes (RC 111 W 01), weld plastic by poly-fusion (ZK 15 P 2) and by butt-welding (ZK 11 P 2).
