3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;

Vocational competences:
- carry out installation, maintenance and repair of pipelines and gas appliances, installation of valves, gas pressure regulator, safety and protective devices;
- carry out work on gas pipes under pressure, observe them at a technologically suitable and safe working practices;
- install and deploy the meter of combustible gases;
- carry out audit and inspection activities;
- elect the technological process of assembly and repair of pipelines and their accessories;
- connect pipe materials, assemble the pipe and perform the prescribed test for leaks;
- manually process the metallic and non-metallic materials selected, know the basic methods of its machine tooling;
- select and use materials on the basis of their properties;
- work with manual and mechanized hand tools and work aids;
- have knowledge of generally applicable legislative standards and use them;
- read construction drawings, prepare a simple sketch of the building and draw the imposition of piping;
- carry out simple calculations related to the installation of piping and accessories;
- adhere to regulations for testing of gas and apply the principles of the transfer of buildings to the investor;
- prepared for welding by oxy-acetylene flame welding (ZK 311 W01), by arc welding with coated electrodes (RC 111 W 01), weld plastic gas pipe butt (ZK 11 P 3) and electro (ZK 16 P 3).
