3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
- work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- support values of local, national, European and world cultures, recognize the value of life;
- exert fundamentals of health protection, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety;
- exert norms and prescriptions in the field.
Vocational competences:
- accept notice;
- use knowledge of psychology and pedagogy in dealing with people and in solving problematic situations;
- deal appropriately with clients of different ethnic, religious and social groups;
- initiate and conduct criminal and administrative proceedings especially on crimes and offenses according to the legal qualification and scope the given competencies;
- carry out the necessary investigations in the case, including taking of evidence and keep the relevant documentation;
- design and perform local security measures in cooperation with other security and emergency services;
- prepare a record of the investigation;
- perform executive measures to protect the population in emergency situations, in cooperation with the Integrated Rescue System;
- provide basic psychological support for victim and recommend assistance of the competent social institutions;
- monitor compliance with safety regulations and adherence to legal standards;
- provide advisory and consultancy services to the issue of the order and safety protection;
- control the keeping of documents and observation of archiving and shredding procedures, keeping and sorting of documentation;
- observe the principles of keeping correspondence in clerical and administrative activities;
- deal with traffic offenses;
- use knowledge of security of persons and property;
- predict the causes and estimate consequences of criminal activity, use the principles of crime prevention.
