3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;

Vocational competences:
- processing of fine sheets and profiles;
- connect fine sheets and profiles in the manufacture and repair of plumbing products;
- modify the surfaces of plumbing products and structures;
- dimensional and draw design on sheet, set developed shapes of sheet metal components and products;
- check the size and shape of metal sheet parts;
- select, adjust and operate plumbing equipment, perform maintenance and minor repair;
- prepare and organize work;
- select, use and maintain instruments, hand tools, hand power tools, measuring instruments and working equipment for processing fine metal sheets and profiles;
- distinguish types of materials used for the construction of plumbing products;
- prepare shop drawings of plumbing products.
Vocational competences specific for mechanical plumber:
- manufacture of engineering components of plumbing products;
- match together parts of plumbing engineering products, assemble them into systems and linking them;
- adjust and operate machinery and equipment in the production of sheet metal engineering products;
- check the dimensions and design of plumbing engineering products;
- repair the plumbing engineering products;
- weld resistance spot welding (ZP 21 9 W01) and resistance seam welding (ZP 22 9 W01).
Vocational competences specific for construction plumber:
- manufacture the plumbing construction products and constructions, match them together assembly and join them together;
- assemble and install plumbing and building products for construction of buildings;
- manufacture, install and retrofit insulation sheathing;
- maintain and repair the plumbing metalwork, exchange of damaged parts;
- check the design and installation of plumbing products and building construction.
