3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;

Vocational competences:
- carry out installation, repair and maintenance work on equipment and telecommunications networks;
- carry out preparatory work for installation, reconstruction and repair of telecommunications equipment and telecommunications transmission lines;
- connect, install and connect the various parts above ground, underground and internal telecommunication network elements including lead, supervise installation and retest the function of management;
- connect, put into operation, diagnose and repair technical documentation with telecommunications equipment, all the operations carried out in accordance with applicable standards;
- operate and provide technical operation with automatic feeders, automatic equipment for telephone and data transmissions, including radio network;
- carry out electrical measurements and evaluate the results of measurements on telecommunications equipment;
- deal with electrical and electronic circuits, select appropriate materials and components, execute circuits designed to implement, revive them, check their function and measure their operating parameters ;
- design and implement a suitable measuring circuit;
- evaluate the readings assigned for control, diagnostics, troubleshooting, for commissioning and its operational settings;
- use standards and other technical documentation for the installation, reconstruction and repair of telecommunications; equipment and telecommunications transmission lines;
- have knowledge of the technical standards applicable in the field and understand the various technical ways of viewing;
- use various kinds of technical, electrical and telecommunications documentation, understand this documentation and use it;
- display in diagrams components and circuits of electronic and telecommunications equipment;
- keep records of inspections, maintenance and repairs of telecommunications equipment.
