3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- take responsibility for completion of tasks in work or study;
- adapt own behaviour to circumstances in solving problems;
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
- work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;

Vocational competences:
- carry out the stucco work according to the material and technical standards;
- cast products of plaster, concrete, stucco, artificial stone, mortar, wax and plastics into moulds;
- loosely apply stucco material; spin on, hype-up, stomp and laminate;
- pull in template profiles in different positions; cast figurative sculpture;
- producing fittings for models, assemble models, capture forms from the models, increase or decrease models according to the required scale;
- complete stucco work by retouching and perform finishing products by patination and staining;
- prepare a base for stucco plaster, and make sgraffiti;
- measure, draw and carry a blanket material and artwork on the wall or ceiling surfaces;
- plant manufactured elements on the building;
- select and use materials and products for stucco work, determine the need for them, transport them to site and prepare them for processing;
- select technological and work sequences of the stucco work; have knowledge of the job descriptions of work sequences;
- select and use tools, job aids and means of mechanization and maintain them;
- read technical and photographic documentation of buildings, produce simple and stucco building drawings and sketches.
