3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- communicate independently and fluently in mother tongue, give reason for his own attitude;
- seek out essential information from the text and other sources;
- understand the task and solve simple problems, find the information necessary for the solution;
- work or learn under supervision with certain autonomy, apply basic rules and procedures;
- cooperate with others when solving simple problems and situations;
- apply basic mathematic skills to solve simple tasks;
- work with a personal computer and its basic and application software;
- apply principles of safety and health protection at work, fire protection and fire prevention;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- have a basic knowledge of career opportunities in the labor market and of the job search process.
Vocational competences:
- lead children of preschool and school age with special educational needs to the right hygienic, working and social habits and to healthy lifestyle, influence their social attitudes and behaviour, the relationship to education, work and employability;
- help children under the guidance of teachers in preparation for learning and teaching;
- provide assistance to children with disabilities in coping with the everyday tasks associated with participation in education and other activities of the school or school establishment;
- help children from different cultural or socially disadvantaged backgrounds in adapting to school environment and managing educational requirements;
- participate in preparation and realization of leisure activities for children organized by schools or school facilities; create a favourable social climate and contribute to the prevention of socially pathological phenomena;
- develop under the expert guidance both inborn and acquired dispositions of children, respect their specific needs and cultural differences;
- monitor changes in behaviour and needs of children, identify problems and respond to them appropriately;
- cooperate with the school or school establishments, with teachers, educational counsellor and other professional school personnel in solving problems of children with special educational needs in communication with children, in collaboration with their lawful representatives, with the community from which the child comes, and with institutions of social and legal protection of children;
- ensure health and safety of children in educational and other activities organized by school.
