| 3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
- work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- support values of local, national, European and world cultures, recognize the value of life;
- exert fundamentals of health protection, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety;

Vocational competences:
- work out design documentation for individual and industrial production of clothing, model clothing by types figures;
- process the technical documentation for individual and industrial production of clothing;
- assess the properties of clothing materials and apply their knowledge in the design and technological preparation of production of a particular garment ;
- set the consumption of clothing material, set the textile and small technical preparations for a given product or defined amount of textile products;
- determine the suitability of specific machines and equipment for manufacturing of a particular clothing product in individual and industrial production, use the overview of machines and equipment in the manufacture of clothing;
- assess products in terms of function, design, aesthetics and production costs;
- manage basic procedures of the process of clothing production and handle basics of the operating of clothing machinery and equipment;
- monitor the progress of unfinished garment with manufacturing process, perform analysis of defects and evaluate the quality of clothing products;
- apply the aesthetics in the preparation and production of clothing products;
- prepare documentation for the calculation of wages, cost calculation and perform technical and economic analysis;
- ensure the safety and health at work, including fire prevention, stand out for quality of the work, products and services.
