3. PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |
General competences:
- be familiar with various methods of learning, use sources of information well, show functional literacy;
- understand assignments or identify the cores of problems, exert variable solutions, work both independently and within a team;
- communicate in one foreign language at the level of at least B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
- cope with changing socio-economic conditions, be financially literate;
- be aware of the labour market mechanisms, and of the employee-employer relationships, act on career decisions responsibly, understand the significance of lifelong learning;
- use basic mathematics and the basic principles of physics and chemistry when needed in daily situations;
- work with the means of information and communication technologies, exploit adequate sources of information, handle information effectively;
- act in an environmentally-conscious manner and in compliance with strategies for sustainability;
- support values of local, national, European and world cultures, recognize the value of life;
- exert fundamentals of health protection, occupational safety, and fire prevention and safety;
- exert norms and prescriptions in the field.
Vocational competences:
- use knowledge of the historical development of art culture and arts and crafts in their work;-
- handle basic art expressing means and techniques;
- use visual and expressive possibilities of implementation technological processes and techniques and used materials;
- ensure final aesthetic design when creating arts and crafts works;
- have a complex overview of the types of materials used, treat them economically and ecologically, assess their properties and decide on their choice in terms of their expressive possibilities and the final tone of the product;
- master, apply and adhere to traditional and modern technological procedures and techniques in the manufacture and repair of arts and crafts textiles, set the schedule of work operations;
- use correctly and in compliance with the relevant work operations, corresponding machinery, equipment, tools, instruments and devices, master the ways of their treatment and routine maintenance;
- work out arts and crafts textiles according to drawings, original patterns or artistic design with suitable technological processes and equipment in accordance with artistic intent and high demands on the level of arts and crafts processing;
- apply the relevant standards and regulations in the field of heritage preservation;
- prepare initial and subsequent documentation of the specific work;
- perform repairs and maintenance of the original workpieces;
- adhere to technological discipline.
